CoE promotes Convention 108 as global code
The Council of Europe (CoE) announced on 27 October 2011 that it will push for global recognition of Convention 108 on the Protection of Individuals with regard to Automatic Processing of Personal Data, at the 33rd International Conference on Data Protection and Privacy Commissioners in Mexico City on 2-3 November 2011.
