On 9 September 2010, the Financial Services Authority (FSA) published draft minutes of a meeting of its e-money stakeholder liaison group1 which sets out details of the timetable for the UK implementation of the new E-Money Directive2 ('the EMD'). It is anticipated that the HM Treasury consultation will be published in September followed by the FSA's own consultation in October - implementing regulations are expected in December 2010. The stakeholder liaison group identified a number of issues relating to the implementation of the new EMD which merit consideration by interested parties.
