Gambling Bill targeting offshore operators has "no real prospect"

Member of Parliament Matthew Hancock presented his Offshore Gambling Bill to the UK Parliament on the 25 June, formally claiming a date for a second reading of the backbench-led legislation, to be held on 25 January 2013. The bill aims to amend gambling taxation to point of consumption, which will require offshore operators to pay UK taxes.
